His voice grew louder; he had fully sat up in a fit of rage, glaring fiercely at Yan Luoxi. He had been restless and anxious awaiting her return, but what he received was such heartless words.

In the evening, light rain began to fall in this coastal city. The raindrops continuously tapped against the window panes, making a steady sound.

厲安想叫顏落夕過來和他一起睡，又怕被拒絕，隻能找來空調遙控器調高室內的溫度。

因為他們之前總愛在一張床上膩在一起，特護晚上從不進來，厲安見空調遙控器放在茶幾上，估計是那些人擔心他會摔壞它，他隻好自己起來去取。

厲安掙紮著從床上坐起，慢慢挪下床。由於他的傷口白天撕裂過，此時即便是輕微的動作也會讓他疼得滿頭大汗。

他一步一挪地緩緩接近茶幾，慢慢地俯身去拿遙控器，因為身體前傾導致傷口劇痛，手指顫抖著碰倒了旁邊的水杯，發出清脆的響聲。

躺在床上的顏落夕被這聲響驚醒，急忙轉身。一眼看到站在房間中央的厲安，以為他又在發脾氣，皺著眉頭冇好氣地說：“大半夜不睡覺瞎折騰什麼？怎麼還下床了？”她生氣歸生氣，但也不能不管獨自站立的厲安，於是從床上爬下來。

Yan Luoxi rolled her eyes in exasperation. She knew that Lian was adept at taking advantage of situations like these. She lightly reprimanded him, "If your wound hurts so much, how can sleeping together make it less painful Besides, if we sleep together, there’s a higher chance of me accidentally touching your wound."
